We are in pursuit of an experienced Lead CGI Artist to join our visionary team. This role demands more than expertise; it demands an artistic sensibility, an innovative mindset, and a commitment to excellence. As a Lead CGI Artist at Lotus Tech, you will shape the future of automotive visual storytelling.

Main Responsibilities:

• Ensure CGI pipelines are streamlined and effectively integrate into the overall Visualisation pipeline.
• Document all CGI pipelines meticulously, regularly updating them for optimum efficiency.

• Oversee collaboration with other departments to maintain processes facilitating smooth transitions from CGI assets to final grading.
• Continuously seek opportunities to enhance CGI workflows for increased flexibility and creativity.

• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to strict deadlines and delivering high-quality work on time.
• Provide creative leadership, guiding and mentoring a team of CGI artists to ensure consistent, high-quality output.
• Offer constructive critiques and mentorship to team members for ongoing improvement.

• Create photorealistic CGI stills, matching real-life references and adhering to the highest standards of quality.
• Develop CGI materials to achieve lifelike representations.

• Work closely with Creative, Design, and Senior Management teams, fostering a collaborative approach to project delivery.
• Collaborate with retouching artists and the Viz team, ensuring the seamless integration of CGI content into the overall visual communication strategy.
• Contribute to the development of our data pipeline into Maya, working with Tech Artists to create efficient workflow tools.

Essential Attributes:

• Proven experience as a Lead CGI Artist in the automotive industry.
• Strong expertise in material creation, lighting (V-Ray), Look Dev, Rigging, and FX (particles/fluids etc).
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Adaptable, resourceful, and self-motivated, with meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to manage and mentor a team effectively.
• Proficiency in Maya and other relevant CGI software.
• Innovative mindset, constantly seeking ways to enhance CGI workflows.
• Comfortable in a collaborative, time-sensitive, and fast-paced environment.
